Yes, you can use a single one. I assume now that you can configure the left and
right one independently to do certain things when you tap them you’ll limit
yourself to whatever you select it do do when you use a single one, but it’s
definitely possible.
I will continue to wait for the Airpods second generation, may not be until
next fall, but if I spend $219 which is what they cost in Canadian Dollars for
these things I want them to do exactly what I expect and they are not there
yet. Hopefully people who use them and who provide feedback to Apple think it
would be a good idea if the part that sticks down had a hole/loop molded into
the plastic so one could attach a little cord which would allow you to hang
them around your neck and it would make it much less easy to loose one. It also
would generate an entire new industry and Apple could make their own little 10
Cent cord and sell it for $9.99 similar to the rip-off with the iPod wrist
loops they used to do or maybe still do.

Sieghard

Subject: AirPods

Hello everyone, thinking I might want the AirPods at some point, can you use
only one pod in an ear at a time, or, do you have to use both? Thinking one
single would be nice if ylj're walking, and so on if you want if you think
God.
Thank you for any thoughts you might be able to give me
Stacy

Hi,

With EarSkins on the AirPods, do the AirPods still fit in the charging case?
Or, do you need to put them on and off the AirPods for charging?

Thanks, Keith
