Actually, you are correct in that the punctuatio level makes all the difference. However, the correct setting to pronounce Wi-Fi as “WiFi” is to have it set to “Some”. I just tested it and if you set it to “All” it will say “Wi hyphen Fi” and if you set it to “None” it does in fact pronounce it the way Alan said as “Weefee”. I find the “All” punctuation setting useless because then it will also speak the colon when it announces the time, e.g. 1 colon 37 and setting it to None is equally useless at least for me because then it will make a lot of these pronounciation errors. Therefore “Some” is the most useful.
