Hello Joe, What I have done in the past, with some success, is to contact the iTunes Store support team, via telephone and request that a certain title have its audio described track added. Also, at the same time, I have gone to apple.com/feedback, and completed the form requesting that the audio description track be added for that same title.
I think I've done this 3 separate times for 3 different titles. It took about a month or so but, in all three cases, the audio description track was eventually added. Particularly ones that have AD tracks on there respective optical media? Personally my thinking is if it has audio described content on DVD or Blu-ray, then it should also be available in the various on-demand services such as iTunes, Amazon, and even Google play, who don’t have any sort of described content whatsoever. However, considering this is an iOS list, I will stick to iOS related matters. I am surprised, that Amazon has office Christmas party described on on-demand, whereas iTunes does not. Similarly for Fifty Shades darker, I’m surprised that’s not described anywhere besides an optical disc. I emailed accessibil...@apple.com around 17 April, they got back to me on May 2 and said that they would forward my feedback to the appropriate department for consideration. I appreciate and understand that’s kind of what they have to say, but I was wondering if I could get the ball rolling even further. Any ideas?
