Actually Echo can play many Kindle books but not all. It has no navigation in Kindle books though. The only navigation it has in Audible is by chapter so I don't think it's that useful. And, you cannot change the speed of the books which some people want to do. But if you don't mind just reading straight through the book, it works OK with Audible and with some Kindle books. I think there are much better ways to do Audible.
