double tap and hold and while holding, slide your finger up about an inch.
Release and the record should remain locked.

Hi all. Has anyone mastered the new gesture where you are supposed to be
able to slide your finger up a little and it locks the message so you can
record longer messages. I can’t seem to master it. If someone could describe
