Actually Verizon will do it for you over the phone. They did it for me. It took about 5 minutes. If they had shipped it that way you would have had issues with the other phone.

The store says they have not gotten the new SIM cards and have no idea when to expect them -- not days, weeks or when. I don't know if I had ordered through Verizon using his upgrade they would have sent it with a SIM and her number. It is something to remember until those new cards are in circulation. In all the stuff I read about the IPhone, this is the first I heard Verizon would now have cards the end user could change.
