That is correct and also applies to Audible. If anything is purchased via an app then the developer has to pay Apple I think 30% of the purchase price and of course Amazon is not about to give Apple 30% of their entire Audible and Kindle book revenue. I think this is wrong of Apple, if companies have original content like Amazon does with Audible and Kindle Apple should not charge this, I’m sure if they went to Amazon asking for a small fee like 2 or 3% they could reach an agreement. At the same time it’s easy enough to jjust go online with the computer or the iPhone to purchase a book and to then read it in the Kindle app or listen to it in the Audible app.
