One thing to remember is that Apple gets pounded twice as hard as anybody else if they mess up on something. That's just the nature of being successful. I don't even want to think how bad it would have been if the battery disaster that happened with the Note 7 had happened with the iPhone 7 or 7 Plus, Apple would have been slaughtered, certainly a lot worse than Samsung.
