The closest thing I've experienced to this so far is VoiceOver going silent for a few heartbeats and coming back on. Reminds me of an issue that was more prevalent back on my 4S and iOS 5 and 6.x. Back then though, VO would stay quiet for around thirty seconds or so. Now like I say, it's a second or two at the most and VO comes back. It'll even say screen curtain on as though there was a quick reset somewhere.
