SIRI has it's challenges when it comes to popular knowledge where Google shines simply because of the access to information Google has. However, Google is not integrated intot he iPhone, I can't tell it to dial a number or to set an alarm and in fact many of the phone functions SIRI does extremely well. As for Alexa, here in Canada at least Alexa is not nearly so smart, I can, for example, ask it how far it is from Vancouver to Calgary and it will tell me, but asking the distance to any of the smaller cities or towns and Alexa has no clue whereas Siri tells me both the highway/driving distance and the "as the crow flies" distance. What I start to realize with Alexa is that yes there are a ton of skills out there you can install/enable, but if you don't recall exactly to ask for the particular skill it's pretty useless. Anyhow, I hope the thread won't continue with all the one-liners where people either agree or disagree how stupid SIRI is. Terri, I think if SIRI pulls up as you said "similar" results then maybe it does indeed not understand you correctly, just a thought.

Another common mistake that I see from clients that I work with is that they are speaking to slowly, not waiting for the indication chime from Siri to start talking, they pause to frequently whilst speaking, the list goes on and on. I always tell them the biggest thing to remember is that Siri is not a person and it is programed to react to certain questions, and is only capable of things it's allowed to access. Is it perfect?
