Richard and others, I have been going to bookshare on the web using my phone and that probably is where the problem with the cheesy audio voice came through. I've since started opening up voice dream reader and going to bookshare that way. Either way I still get the cheesy voice. It does indicate that I have downloaded the book in Daisy format which is in fact what I chose. I chose audio at one point and I chose Daisy just to compare it in great hopes that one would give me the voice I wanted but no such luck. I went to manage voices yesterday and I have Samantha selected. Samantha on my phone is selected as the default. I never found an option to set the voice I preferred to the iOS voice and the voice currently selected in book share is Samantha. They are as different as Night and day however! It's enough to make me not read the books until I get this sorted out. Deidre
