dani, Perhaps you could say what kind of traveling you plan to do using a GPS app, since everyone's use is different. Most GPS apps use data but there are two apps I know of that download the maps onto your device, so do not require data. Nearby Explorer, $79.99, and requires close to '3 GB of space on your phone for the United States map I think. Though an update is just out that may allow you to download smaller regions including a map for England. It is made specifically for visually impaired users. The other one with on board maps is Navigon, which is about $60 for the US and Canada, or you can buy regions for around $30, plus it has apps for other countries'. Navigon works fine with VoiceOver, but is not as user friendly as Nearby explorer.
