Sorry for the late reply. I suppose one advantage is you can put different kinds of information in 1Password, such as log-in information, secure notes, credit/debit cards, and identities. If you get the in-app purchase for 1Password then you get a whole list of other information. Whereas iCloud KeyChain only tracks account usernames and passwords. 1Password is free to try so if you find that you don't like it then you can always go back to iCloud Keychain. However, 1Password lets me keep all sorts of sensitive information in one place. If I were to use Apple related apps, I would need two or three apps to track the same information that 1Password keeps up with. I still use iCloud Keychain too, but that wouldn't be the first time I've kept the same information in multiple places.
