Hello, Thanks for your response. Hope that you and others with similar problem will consider reporting this to apple. Indeed the best way to deal with this for now is to turn off speech feedback completely. I find I got used to hearing if the word I typed was misspelled. I actually suggested to apple accessibility to add an option of having a sound for misspelled words that would be audible independent of the setting for VoiceOver feedback.
