Hi, Voice Boost is useful in a situation where a podcaster is speaking with someone, and one person is louder than the other. It doesn't solve the problem if the difference is immense, but I have listened to podcasts with Voice Boost where the presenter apologizes for the volume disparity at the end, and I hadn't noticed a problem. It works just fine regardless of how the speed is set.
