Hi,

You are the third person running I have seen using a Focus 14 with this issue
on an iPhone today. I wonder if you are running IOS 11.3 or a beta? The other
two were running the latest beta of IOS 11. I wonder if this is a bug that
needs reported to Apple.

Merv

Subject: braille display wont connect automatically via bluetooth on ios 11.3.1
iphone 5s

hi everyone,

its amir. i am using focus 14 from freedom cientific as braille display.

not sure since what version it started, but now, let say i pairg my focus with
iphone 5s, at first it did work. but if i lock / unlock again the screen, it
wont connect again. going to settings accessibility voice over braille, focus
14 is selected, but not paired. but if i press on it, it said pairing, and then
connected, but on my braille dissplay it wont show the phone's content. like,
it is not connected, it shows focus 14 screen. i have to forget the device and
pair it again, and i have to do it every time i sleep and wake the device, the
phone i mean. and before every thing, i did all normal steps for apple
products, receting network settings, reboot, etc. and, i keep my focus turns on
before waking up the phone.

did anyone experience this?

ios 11 is my last ios here, i dont want to stuck with this issue forever, so if
it did happen to you, i hope we can together report it to apple!
