I’ll use my ipad mini 4 as long as I can. When I can no longer update to the latest ios, I’ll get the Apple 9.7 inch model.

The mini four is, in my opinion, too old. If they had come out with a new one with the same processor as the new iPad 9.7, then I would think that would be a good choice. But they didn’t. You have to figure on upgradability, and how much longer is that mini four going to be upgradable. Wouldn’t touch it with a 10 foot pole. You can get the 9.7 inch model with 32 GB for $300 right now at Best Buy. If you have a little more money, an extra hundred gets you 128 GB. I’m sure the pro models have better audio, and of course better displays. But as a blind person, who cares? I mean about the display. And I can’t imagine that whatever improvement there is with the audio is worth all that extra money. But that is in the ear of the beholder. Like you, I have an iPad Mini too. And I keep hoping that they’re going to upgrade that model with a better processor. But it hasn’t happened, and signs point to it not happening. So, if you want to stick with an iPad, that 9.7 form factor is the smallest thing you’re going to get. Your other option I suppose would be to hang onto your current phone, whatever model it is, get a new phone and turn your old phone into a replacement for your iPad mini two. I currently have a mini IPad II, and before I buy a later model, I am looking for some advice and opinions on which mini IPads are best and would it be better to go ahead and purchase an IPad. If an IPad is recommended, which ones work best with VO? Thanks. Vicki -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
