As for setting them up, the Philips Hue is pretty straight forward,
installation of a thermostat will require you to most likely get a qualified
technician and the video doorbells are somewhere in the middle. If you have an
existing doorbell it's not too hard, but it may require some drilling,
connecting some wires etc., it all depends on how handy you are with such
things.

turn on Kitchen Sink 1 in which case only one of the two bulbs there comes on. I can then
furthermore say to "make the dining table 40%" and it dims it to less than half the
full brightness, this one is also a coloured light so I can tell SIRI to "make the dining
table light purple or whatever and it's done.spot
As for thermostats I have the Honeywell Lyric T5, a relatively inexpensive WiFi connected
thermostat with an accessible app and again compatible with Homekit/Siri as wel as Alexa.
If I wake up in the winter when during the night we lower the temperature I can just say
"Alexa, set the temperature to 22 degrees" and it does it and the furnace turns
on. I can also tell Alexa or SIRI to make it 1 degree cooler if it'
S too warm but I can't remember what the temperature is set at and it lowers
the temperature by 1 degree.
For front door security we have a ring video doorbell which works OK although I
would possibly consider the Honeywell Skybell or Nest Hello doorbell as well.
