Exactly yes I’m on the same channel as you when you mention the availability of 
older phones that don’t have the latest&greatest, but that do work. for 
instance I’ve an SE which came out March2016, an dit’s working awesome! the 
same thing in May 2020 when my Telcel plan is renewed, and am elegible for an 
iPhone upgrade which Telcel subsizes,subcidizes, I’ll go with a phone 2 
generations above, which would be in a year and a half, the iPhone
