I recently purchased Anna's excellent book You and  Your  Apple Watch.

It was amazingly well written!

Even with the exchange rate I didn't hesitate to hit that buy button.

I'd consider myself quite an advanced user of tech, but even I learn some very handy tips and tricks from Anna's wonderful book.

Advanced or basic user, anyone wanting to get to grips with the Wach from a blindness perspective should jump at purchasing the above title.

Thanks again for writing such a fantastic book Anna, I would rate this book 5 stars  and then some.

Are you planning to update Getting Started with the iPhone and iOS 11 once iOS 12 is released?

Keep up the good work!

Hi everyone,

My favorite things about the watch are getting notifications on my wrist and
the fitness stuff. In a crowded, noisy environment, getting a tap on the wrist
when a text message comes in means I'm more likely to know I got the message.
I'm not that into fitness, but being reminded to get up and walk around each
hour has improved my health, I'm sure.

Sometimes when it's hard to get my phone out in a hurry, being able to answer
the phone from my wrist is convenient.

There are apps that are really helpful in addition to the built-in ones as
well. I have one called Clicker that simply lets you tap it to count things. I
knit, and some of the patterns require counting rows. I love having the count
on my wrist, where it's easy to access.

It's also easier to deal with text messages from the watch without stopping
what I'm doing completely. When a new one comes in, I can quickly dictate a
reply.

I hope that helps.

Best,
Anna

I have two Braille watches. But I do wonder why I would want an Apple watch?
What would it do for me, especially since I have an iPhone? I'm not a swimmer,
so that part of it has no application to me.

Best regards,

Carolyn

Subject: some apple watch questions

Hey guys,

OK, i have been toying with the idea of getting the apple watch. So don't
laugh, right now, i have a braille watch, yea i know, old, lol.
Honestly i haven't really played with the apple watch. What's everyone's
thoughts on it? The list of things you can do with it, it's crazy.
Just wanna get some general opinions.

Thanks,
Jed
