If you are tight on available memory on your device, updating through the
computer using iTunes is less problematic.
In fact, it is probably faster in most cases.
I updated an iPhone, and an iPad Pro over wifi today and an iPhone using the
computer and all went smoothly, but the computer one did go more quickly.

Hi all

Know that IOS 12 has just been released.

I know it's old school, but is there any truth from using iTunes to update your
ios devices? Rather then performing it from devices. In terms of having a
cleaner install of a big IOS update.

I hope that makes sense. In my mind, I know what to say but I feel that I'm not
explaining it very well over email.
