I generally do the whole iTunes backup first and through the PC update, but
yesterday I was feeling lazy and initiated the update before I jumped in the
shower and shaved after working out.
I think the entire process from me accepting whatever terms and the phone
coming back to go throughout the various prompts took maybe 30 minutes. I would
have done it via my PC, but I had already turned it off and didn't feel like
going back into my office to boot everything back up and I had just done a
backup maybe two weeks ago. Otherwise, I would've followed the same procedure.
This time, for me, there were no issues doing it over the air as they say.

Subject: IOS 12 updating method. Witch is more less likely to contain problems

Hi all

Know that IOS 12 has just been released.

I know it's old school, but is there any truth from using iTunes to update your
ios devices? Rather then performing it from devices. In terms of having a
cleaner install of a big IOS update.

I hope that makes sense. In my mind, I know what to say but I feel that I'm not
explaining it very well over email.
