I'm currently waiting with bated breath for something to go drastically wrong, but it looks like my issues with Voice Dream Reader freezing up totally have been fixed! I have a huge library, and VDR is always syncing things, and when it's doing this, the app often locks up to the point where it, along with VO, are totally unresponsive, necessitating closing the app in the app switcher and praying that I have better luck upon relaunching it. This seems to have been fixed with the latest update. When I updated VDR just now and opened it, it popped up a dialogue letting me know that it was updating my library. When that was finished, I flicked around like mad, trying to get it to crash, but nothing. I even opened a book and started reading it, then paused it and went back to the library; before, something like that would have made it crash for me as it started syncing my updated position, but that no longer seems to be the case.
