WatchOS 5

Do a force quit on the walkie-talkie app and it will fix your issue.

Hello,

I cannot find that Siri feature either.

As far as the Walkie Talkie app is concerned I have the same screen as you
describe. However in you launch the Walkie Talkie app and spin the Digital
Crown you should be taken to a list of contacts you can add.

I assume once contacts have been added you can then start a conversation.

Hi,

I upgraded to WatchOS 5 yesterday and just listened to Ton’s Applevis Podcast
about the new WatchOS 5 features.
Nice that one can now customize the control centre and move the widgets around
like one can in the iOS control centre.
However, there is supposed to be an option where you can enable it so you can
simply raise your hand/wrist and SIRI is supposed to listen. I have no such
setting in Settings > General > SIRI, only one option there to turn Hey SIRI on
or off.
I thought maybe I had to enable raise to wake in Settings > General > Wake
Screen first which I had disabled, but that doesn’t make a difference, either.

Furthermore, I have the Walkie-Talkie app, but again Thomas said there should
be an option in Settings to configure it and I assume to add which contacts you
give access, but I have no Walkie-Talkie option anywhere in settings at least
not where I can find it. If I open the app it simply says Walkie-Talkie at the
top, then it says “Talk with friends Apple Watch to Apple Watch, contacts you
add can talk to you whenver you are set to available”.
I tried to double tap, hard press but nothing happens and I wonder what I am
missing here. I did, by the way, turn my watch off completely after upgrading
and turn it back on to see if that might make a difference, but it doesn’t.

Regards,
Sieghard
