I don't mind them being grouped, but when a grouped notification appears on my locked screen, the previous one disappears so I am only seeing one message at a time. This means if several grouped messages come in, all the previous one disappears and only the most recent ones go away and I am never sure if there are more without going into notifications and looking there.
If I unlock my screen, even the last one disappears.
