you have to turn it off manually that's what I did in mail.

disappear off the locked screen until I made them go away. Now only one at

time shows up and I am missing messages when I don't hear them come in and
another comes in after it, as well as any alerts.
They will show up in the notification center, but I don't want to keep
having to check there to see if I have missed something.
