I would look at it this way, if you want to have the ability to leave your
phone at home .. and still be able to make calls .. take texts .. listen to
things like Apple music ..then definitely go with the cellular version.
Remember however you will have to pay for service on the watch in addition to
the phone .. I bought the cellular version .. used it initially .. then
decided that it wasn't worth paying about $17 after taxes to have the ability
... I rarely go anywhere where I don't have my phone... On the plus side, it
was nice to be able to if I was going for a walk or whatever to be able to
leave the phone at home...

It comes down to what you want to be able to do. Hope that helps.

Subject: watch series 4, to just wifi or cellular that is the question

Hi once again, since there is no dumb question except the one not asked I will
ask. Can someone help this old lady understand why would anyone buy a series 4
Apple watch with no cellular, just wifi? I can understand iPad or iPhone since
you can use wifi at work or home and you can hook into wifi in some places.
However, the watch does actually tell you the time, among every other thing it
can do, right? So you wear it all day, but sometimes you go outside. Is there
enough wifi around to keep the watch running or does it run off your phone's
cellular or wifi? Curious. Going to buy a series 4 watch so which should I get?
Thanks

God said, "I need somebody strong enough to pull sleds and find bombs, yet
gentle enough to love babies and lead the blind. Somebody who will spend all
day on a couch with a resting head and supportive eyes to lift the spirits of a
broken heart." So God made a dog.
