My sincere thanks to everyone who has chimed in on this thread.  I
have an Apple Music subscription myself.  The chief reason for my
keeping it is the large database of classical music recordings it
contains.  However, sometimes, as I said, the search results are not
granular enough.  The other day, while perusing the library results, a
composer's name was omitted from the list of result fields.  This is
the kind of omission a listener to other genres might not usually
worry about, but in a classical music context involving more than one
composer, it could be crucial.  I may try the Primephonic service, and
if I do, I'll report to the list.  For those who missed it,
Primephonic is devoted exclusively to classical music recordings.  I
know of no other online music service that claims  this
specialization.  Unfortunately, the app gets very poor ratings.
