Thanks, IOS updated fine but I then wanted to update Facebook and said space issue. It did not give any other info.

Hi, When you choose to update, iOS checks to see if there's enough room. If not, it offers to delete some apps and then put them back after the update is complete. I've done this a couple of times, and it always worked fine.
