The Contacts app/Contacts tab: No deleting a contact in this new way. You have to open the Contact, go to Edit, go to the very end and double tap on the delete button there. The Messages app: I can delete a conversation in the main list view, but if I go into that conversation, the Action rotor is not available to delete individual messages in the conversation. I can clear all messages by going to Edit and then tapping Clear All at the top left or I can double tap one or more messages in a conversation and then double tap the "Delete 3 messages" in the bottom left where 3 is just an example, it will indicate however many messages you selected. Feel free to use what I typed above to paste into your message to Apple to ask that the Action rotor is one of the nice new iOS 6 features, but to implement it also in these places and others you may think of or where Apple may find a use for it.
