My wife and I switched last December to Xfinity Mobile. At that time, you could not bring your own phone to them, but had to buy a phone through them. We were ready to update, so that was not a problem. Now I believe, depending on the age of your phone, you can use your existing phone. If you do have to buy one, they do not charge interest if you choose to pay over time. We went with the by the gig plan since we do not use a lot of data. So, it is $12 per gig, and no charge for minutes or texting. Unlimited data is $45 a month. We've had no issues. HTH, Richard
