Hello, I am a Voiceover user and have had my first iOS device in 2009 when Voiceover was first introduced. In those days I started out with the iCatcher Podcast app, then I used Downcast for a while and while I tried Apple’s Podcast app, I have now been using Overcast for many years. I know that a lot of other blind and visually impaired users also really like your app and I’d like to thank you for making it so wonderfully accessible. However, just today the discussion about Podcast apps came up on the Google list “Viphone” where about 2,000 blind and visually impaired users of iOS devices discuss iOS, Apple hardwear, accessories and of course apps. One list member pointed out he preferred Downcast because it allowed for more customization options between global and per-Podcast settings and also that if you chose to stream your Podcasts that the length of the Podcast was announced by Voiceover. I noticed that with Overcast you either have to download the Podcast to hear the length or you have to start streaming it before you can see how long it is. If the length of the Podcast can be displayed by Downcast I assume this information is available and it would be great if this could be changed in a future update so that along with “streamable” Voiceover would also announce the length.
