I can remember at first when I heard a friend's Orbit Reader that the sound of the cells refreshing with each line that it would get annoying or be noisy. When I got the Orbit I was happy to discover that even while using it in church singing on a mike and at work during meetings no one has commented on hearing a strange noise. I figured they might because I can hear it but even using it in a classroom works out well. I thought that I would miss having cursor routing buttons but using the rotor with dots 2-3 chord and or dot 5-6 chord to go between words, lines, characters, and so forth then using dot 3 chord to go back and dot 6 chord to go forward to move the cursor works just as well. It was an adjustment for me but I like its layout and it's comfortable to type on and it keeps up with my typing speed.
