I would echo the comments regarding how simple the new store is, I have had no problems purchasing, searching, or updating apps. I think some of the confusion some may be experiencing has to do with the fact that under the old system the app download progress and the ability to open the app once it had finished downloading and installing was separate from the store and now it is combined. But folks that hold true for all users, we cannot say the store is not accessible, anyone can say they don't like the new store, but not in my opinion that it is not accessible.
