Also AltU will take you to the subject field. Best regards,

I use a Windows PC with Jaws and I use Outlook for my email client, here is how this works for me: If I want to reply to somebody privately I press Shift+Tab when I am at the beginning of the message until I get to the "From" field, probably you have to press it 5 or 6 times. Below is an example of what that looks like using your message to the list: >From read only edit viphone@googlegroups.com on behalf of anthony borg ><anthonyborg...@gmail.com> When you shift+tab into that field your cursor is at the end of the line, you can now press left arrow once and the entire name and email address of the person who is sending the message will be highlighted, using Jaws speech history it sounds like this: anthony borg <anthonyborg...@gmail.com> Now if you press Shift+F10 you get a context menu, the first option in it is Cut and if you down arrow once you have Copy. Press enter and you now just copied the email address of the person to your clipboard. Now you can simply use Control+R to reply to the message, press Shift+tab again until you get to the "To" field which would have viphone@GoogleGroups.com in it, backspace until that is deleted and press Control+V to paste in the address in your clipboard which should be the address of the sender of the message and at this point you can tab again to the message body and write your reply which will only go to the sender of the message. You can try also to simply press Shift+Control+R, this is a Jaws keystroke which is supposed to reply directly to the sender of the message not to the list, but I find it doesn't always work or maybe it works on some lists but not others, so far I have had no luck with it on the Viphone list. If you use Jaws you can easily check what is in the "To" field by pressing Alt+3 when you are composing a message, it will read the "To" field, Alt+5 will read the subject field and if you press Alt+5 twice quickly it will move the cursor into the subject field. -----Original Message----- From: viphone@googlegroups.com <viphone@googlegroups.com> On Behalf Of anthony borg Sent: Monday, October 29, 2018 2:02 PM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: RE: question Hi sieghard That's exactly what I need to know. How to get an email address of somebody I have on the list and to write privately or not. The important thing at this stage is how to get it and then add it to the added field. Thanks that you have mentioned that outlook is also available for I o s because I wouldn't know that. His mailer in the header says it's Outlook. Is Outlook available on a phone? It very well might be, I just don't know, not doing anything with email on anything without a real keyboard myself.
