Hi Tom,

You can add Battery level as a complication on I think pretty much most watch
faces and then, if you like, you could set it to auto speak so that every time
you wake up your watch the battery level would auto speak.
As for text messages, did you make sure on your iPhone you go to Settings >
Your Apple Account (at the very top) > iCloud and turn on Messages?
Mirroring only refers and applies to notifications.

Subject: Looking for clarification

Good morning,

I have two questions.
First, is there a way to check my iWatch's battery status without always having
to ask Siri? I thought there was a gesture or an area, but I can't find one.
And, while I'm on that subject, is there a way of having it not always speak
how much I've moved, walked, exercised, etc, every time I press the crown so it
can speak the time? I wish I could just get it to speak the time when I raise
my arm, but that doesn't seem to work for me.

My other question is more complicated and what I need clarified.
I was under the impression that there was a setting that devices like iPads and
iWatches could mirror my phone when it came to things like text messages. I
had it set, but when I erase my text messages from my iPhone, they still seem
to appear on my iPad and iWatch. Does anyone know why that would be and what
I'd need to do? I really thought that turning mirroring on would be the trick.
Thank you very much.
