If Siri gets a word wrong, is it possible to spell it to him?

I also have this problem. Another problem I have when I am dictating, is that
sometimes it does put in a word that I didn’t even say. Or several words that I
didn’t even say. When I read them it sounds correct pillow, so I don’t realize
it. I wish they were actually figure out how to make dictation better like it
used to be.

  Mary,

One thing to keep in mind is that you could set up a keyboard shortcut for
your email address. I have one setup for all my personal and my work email, I
start all of them with a double e as in “ee” because not many words I can think
off start with a double e, then I added an o for my outlook.com email address,
a b for my business email address, a g for my gmail address. So, if I need to
type my email say when logging in on a website I just type “EEO” and when I
press space it expands to [email protected].

  Sieghard

I have definitely seen this happened, and it did not start with iOS 12, and
it is inconsistent. That means it’s probably going to be hard to pin down on
Apple side. Here’s wishing them good luck.

     Hello everyone,

I wasn’t sure how else to title this message. I’ve got a strange issue
going on. I wonder if anyone else has dealt with death, or Mike know if there’s
anything I can do about it.

Sometimes when dictating a message, or an email, when the text is read back
to me, words will be pronounced wrong. Or incorrectly. For instance, when I
dictated this subject line of this message, it read back to me after the
dictation, then instead of issues, it said it’s use.

However, when I read the message back Word for Word on my own, it was
written correctly. Then it read it correctly.

What could be going on? What could make this happen?

No I do you have trouble with dictation. It doesn’t always dictate
properly, and I tried to fix things. But it’s frustrating when I write
something out, and then think there are errors that aren’t actually there. Any
help with this would be very much appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Terri
