While I could probably get away without not charging my XR overnight, it’s a habit at this point to plug it in. That said, at the end of the day of all day usage, I’m anywhere between 45% and 59% battery.
Screen brightness set to zero, auto brightness turned off, true tone disabled, white point lowered and all that. In fact, after I got my phone and had it all set up, my mother asked to see it. When I gave it to her to play with, she was thoroughly disappointed and started carrying on on how for such an expensive phone, why is the screen so crappy. Why all the fuss over iPhones anyway? It looks like garbage. Her cheap old android had a way better screen. That I should return it and get my money back. I then remembered to make it more sighted friendly and enabled and turned on/up stuff that I had disabled that didn’t matter to me and handed it back to her. She immediately changed her tune and declared that she wanted one.
