I like my gadgets as much as the next person, but at times it's just too much. One thing I would look for is that your tooth brush is a sonic brush, those apparently really do a better job. My wife and I just bought a Water Pik station which includes a very nice water flossing machine as well as it comes with their sonic tooth brush and several brush heads and we now each have a brush head in our cups and use the same base. I previously had a Philips Sonic Care which was also quite good, but they can be ridiculously expensive and I really don't agree when 2 replacement brushes cost $39 Canadian, I mean we are talking about 2 or 3 inches of plastic with a brush at the end. I bet they make money no end on these, most people probably won't check first what replacement brushes cost, they buy the expensive tooth brush and then get a big surprise when they need a replacement brush. Of course at that point they spend $200 on the tooth brush so they bite the bullet and buy the expensive replacement.
