Hi Robert, One of the speakers is in the usual place, to the right of the lightning port with the lightning port closest to you and screen facing upwards. The other speaker is in fact the earpiece. The grill to the left of the lightning port is just a dummy grill, or perhaps it houses a microphone – but it definitely doesn't house a speaker. Matthew
