This keyboard takes batteries, and I don't believe there's a USB connection anywhere on the keyboard. The batteries are in the cylindrical shaped compartment on the left of the keyboard. Slide it up to get to the batteries.
The on/off switch is next to the battery compartment, just to the right, about 2/3 the way down the keyboard. It's a little vertical tab. Slide it towards the batteries to turn the keyboard on and towards the keys to turn it off. I believe to pair it, you need to use a pin or something in the hole just above the on/off switch.
