Hi, Siegard: Several weeks ago, I followed instructions provided by you and others regarding my battery draining issue with Ios 12. I reset network settings, and left the phone plugged in and turned off over night. However, the battery still drains quickly. It didn’t do this with Ios 11. I’m puzzled as to what to try next. Ideas? As Sean said, give it a few days, then do a Reset Network Settings and also, afterwards, plug in your phone, then turn it off completely over night leaving it plugged in. Turn it on the next morning and see how it behaves. Just out of curiocity, did you do anything in preparation for the upgrade or did you just tell it to install when it prompted you? Lastly, remember that after you do a Reset Network Settings you have to reconnect to your WiFi and you will need to enter the WiFi Password, also, if you renamed your phone or if it is called anything other than simply “iPhone”, then you have to go to Settings > General > About and rename it in there. With this on, your phone will log how long you use it each day, thus draining your battery. Turning this feature off should reduce the strain on your battery. HTH.
