We had a pre release version of the Dot watch in our office. It was a total disaster device so before you invest, we need to find someone who can verify whether all of the problems were fixed. A number of other testers reported the same things I did as follows: The cells were a non-standard size making the Braille rather hard to read. The spacing of dots was not normal at all. Dots retracted when touched so what you saw was not always accurate. The device had a terrible time staying paired to the phone. It was such a great idea, but the implementation, which they claimed was the final version was truly not ready for prime time. We all sent them lots of detailed feedback but I'vew never had verification that any changes were made. So I would be super caucious about this until someone does verify that things are much better.
