I don' tthink the recipe part has ever been accessible. My understanding is that you could use the buttons from the phone with a little study. I don't htink they flick well from what I've heard. But I would never expect th eprogramming to work based on previous experience. You really don't need that though. I have found it frustrating that people haven't been able to reliably describe what does and does not work with this. I have the older model and don't need the new one, but eventually I'm sure we all will need it.
