First what I was saying that sending money is limited to using a debit card, however I was mistaken. That is soon to be the case, once they release the Apple Card ..
To send cash to someone.. In messages, start a text to them.. Then tap on the “Apple Pay” app, if those aren’t visible you will have to expend them by tapping on the message apps.. Swipe past the other apps, and you should reach a spot for the amount, you can flip through a picker, or actually expand out an area to enter an amount. Then swipe down to the pay button .. That will then bring up a similar screen to what you would have if you invoked Apple pay at a terminal. Here is where you will see the default card, and if you want you can change to that or use other cards..
