Yes, Sandy, you can set a different pause length between paragraphs. Go to the Voice Dream Settings at the bottom of the screen without a book open. Double tap on manage my voices. Find your preferred voice and double tap on the more info button. This seems to only be an option for the preferred voice. As you flick through the options there is a extra pause for sentences and another one for paragraphs. I have my sentence pause set to 0.4 seconds and the paragraph set to 0.6 seconds, though I may increase that one to help distinguish between them.
