Certainly, there is because, if you don't, every time you move the phone, it
will switch from
"portrait" to "landscape" and back again, and this, voice-over will tell you
about: a right royal
pain in the back pocket!!!

Put your finger on one of the items in the status bar. Then swipe up with
three fingers from the
bottom of the screen. The control center will open.
Now swipe right to you get to the lock rotation button. Double tap to lock it
if it is unlocked.
