Yes, I most definitely allowed notifications. By default, the app selects sound as the notification which is also the ase for westminster Chimes. I totally get that it needs notifications, I allowed them on the lock screen, and set preview to always thinking that should one ever occur, this outta do it. And not that I'm open to this as a long term solution, but I also tried leaving my phone unlocked just to see if it had anything to do with those settings, but nothing happens. The one thing I suppose I could try is to turn on the other notification settings. You don't really want those because you don't want banners popping up every 15 minutes, but again just to see if there's any way to make this go, I'll try that as well. We have the same issues on my husband's 6S+. In our case, the app used to work pretty flawlessly and then somewhere around iOS 11, it became unreliable on the same phones.
