Unfortunately, I did do a reset. My husband is sick too, so I am distracted by 
decisions and his needs too right now. 

Right now, I am having a hard time getting it back on my Wi-Fi here. I verified 
with my server that I have the correct information. 

When it says 11 characters, does that mean there is room for 11, because my 
password has ten characters? I had that in three places; my phone company says 
that the ten-character one is correct. 

I can't figure out where to get back Hey Siri or where to put in the shortcut 
for pressing Home Button three times for shortcut to turn VoiceOver on and off. 
I got my contacts back right with first name first alphabetically and my speech 
rate better, 50 percent (can't get back to 56, but 60 is too fast) and things 
like that. At least this experience will better equip me whenever I have to 
replace this phone. 

This time next week, I'm sure I'll have a brand new problem.

Hopefully you didn't choose to do a complete reset which would have wiped your 
phone clean and reset it to factory settings, basically as it was when you 
first received it. The option you need to select under Settings > General > 
Reset is called "Reset Network Settings".

I restarted, which did not work, but now I am in the process of resetting. At 
least I'm learning more here. How long does it take to reset? Right now, I

Hi Carolyn,

try restarting your phone. If that doesn't work, try resetting network 
settings. This is an option in Settings/General/Reset.
