In Voice Dream Scanner, double tap on menu, then settings, and look for the tones toggle and make sure it is on. You no longer need edge detection on since the tone is telling you how much text is in view. So, the louder the tone the more information it sees. Hold it steady when the tone is loudest and if you have auto capture on, it will take the picture automatically. HTH, Richard
